Our History
Our Journey Begins
Late Mr. Dalpat Rai Maloo commenced his business venture in Sri Dungargarh, marking the inception of his tea enterprise. In 1999, the inaugural packet of tea was launched namely Maloo Tea, signifying the nascent stages of his entrepreneurial journey.
Expanding Horizons
On September 9, 2009, the Shree Tea brand was unveiled, marking a significant milestone in the company's journey. Subsequently, on January 16, 2013, Jain Premium Tea was launched, further diversifying the company's product portfolio.
Growing Our Business
On May 3, 2023, a significant expansion took place as the company opened its first branch in Kolkata, enhancing its presence in the market. Simultaneously, on the same day, a pivotal moment occurred with the merger of RDM and Dalpat Tea Pvt Ltd., reflecting strategic consolidation within the organization.
Continuing Our Legacy
On March 7, 2024, we proudly expanded our market presence with the opening of another branch in Siliguri. Simultaneously, on March 17 2024, we are thrilled to unveil our newest addition: Sooch Tea, featuring a fresh logo that embodies our dedication to innovation and quality.

Late Mr. Dalpat Rai Maloo
Late Dalpat Rai Maloo son of late Shree Rewant Mal Ji Maloo founded the company. Born on November 1, 1949, in Adsar Bass, Sri Dungargarh, Rajasthan, Dalpat Rai Maloo completed his high school education in the same town. As a businessman by profession, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the industry. Proudly embracing his Indian heritage with a Rajasthani ethnicity, he follows the teachings of hinduism, enriched by just influences.
